100 Days to Indy Season 2 is yet to be announced by The CW

Months of preparation and a grueling race schedule have finally led to "The Big Dance," the greatest spectacle in racing, the 107th running of the Indianapolis 500.

With the race just a few weeks away, Episode 105 "The Road to the 500" will highlight the final race ahead of the Indy 500 on May 28. We'll take an inside look at what Indianapolis is like during the month of May, a time when the buses start pulling in, the diehard, lifelong INDYCAR fans hit the streets, and the month-long party begins. Along the way, we'll learn about Katherine Legge, who returns to the Indy 500 after a decade. We'll also meet Stefan Wilson of Dreyer & Reinbold Racing who lost his brother Justin in a racing accident in 2015. Can Wilson win it all for his late brother? Will a woman take home the top prize for the first time in history?.

It's halfway into the season and three different races have yielded three different winners.. as well as ample evidence that IndyCar's two preeminent teams, Penske and Chip Ganassi Racing, are finally being tested. The proof lies in how far back last year's series champ, Penske driver Will Power, sits in the standings. And while his slow start can be chalked up to the league's competition, it obscures a more probable cause - his wife's near-death experience at the beginning of the season. With Liz not at races, not cheering him on with their son, and not managing his meticulous routine, the former Indy 500 winner's quest for his second has been set back. Will redemption come at Barber - a track where he's won before? But the race's road course is also familiar territory for one of the most surprising drivers in the series this year, Agustin Canapino. Will the Argentine's Cinderella story - with two P12 finishes so far - continue.. or will it come back down to earth?.

Led by co-owner Bobby Rahal and his son, driver Graham Rahal. RLL is a team that has struggled in the current season. Following his remarkable breakout season, 2022 Rookie of the Year Christian Lundgaard is having a bit of a sophomore slump. Can he get back on track, and help RLL get its first win of the season? Meanwhile, Meyer Shank Racing is led by two of the best veteran drivers in the sport - Helio Castveonues and Simon Pagenaud, both former Indy 500 winners. Incredibly, Helio shares the record for most overall Indy 500 victories in racing history with four. He's dubbed this season "The Drive for Five"; but does he have what it takes for a record breaking fifth Indy 500 title this year? But first..the teams need to get past Long Beach.

While the Chip Ganassi Racing team secures a win with Marcus Ericsson taking the top spot at the podium at St. Petersburg, Andretti Autosport and Arrow McLaren come on strong.

The longstanding, bitter rivalry begins to unfold at the season's opening race, where Team Penske's Scott McLaughlin and Josef Newgarden and Chip Ganassi Racing's Marcus Ericsson vie for the top spot on the podium.
