Home Economics Canceled ABC Series Not Returning for Season 4

Tom attempts to keep Connor grounded after he announces his plans to go to space then falls into a rough patch himself after learning some bad news. Meanwhile, Marina gets stuck while trying to transform their attic into a writing space for Tom.

Tom's potential new publisher invites himself to the Hayworth family brunch which sends him into a nervous frenzy. Meanwhile, Sarah and Marina give conflicting advice to Connor about his relationship with Windmount's vice principal, Lauren.

The entire Hayworth family goes to attend the Windmount Academy musical to support Gretchen and Sarah. Meanwhile, in an effort to help calm Tom's nerves as he awaits news about his book, Marina proposes they take the edge off and relax by taking edibles.

As Tom struggles to finish his book before his 40th birthday, his dad, Marshall, hijacks his writing seminar. Meanwhile, Denise convinces Marina that she needs to do something special for Tom's 40th and talks her into doing boudoir photos. In addition, Sarah and Denise go overboard to impress a potential sperm donor.

Tom and Sarah crash a poker night that Connor is hosting for some rich and famous friends. Meanwhile, when Camila mentions she thinks there is a ghost in the house, Marina and Denise clash over their very different beliefs.

While Tom and Sarah work on writing a musical for Windmount Academy, things get physical when they don't see eye to eye on the flow of the script. Marina and Denise turn to Connor to help get into better physical shape. 

While Tom and Marina attempt to relive their youth at a college party, Connor and Denise deal with JoJo potentially leaving when she gets an offer to go on a reality show. Meanwhile, Sarah considers casting her niece in the school musical.

Tom and Connor vie to prove to Denise which of them would make a better sperm donor. Meanwhile, Sarah tries to prove to Alison that she has what it takes to direct the spring musical by throwing a successful fundraiser at Connor's house.

Marina convinces Connor to dance with Lupe in a salsa competition to get to know her better; Sarah and Denise take care of Tom as he recovers from a medical procedure.

Connor and JoJo's Valentine's Day takes an awkward turn when his ex-wife and daughter crash their romantic evening. While Tom and Marina, and Sarah and Denise try to enjoy an over-the-top dining experience, a pregnancy scare derails their evening.  .

Tom feels threatened when Marina's father comes to visit, but it's Marina who has a hard time making peace with her dad. Meanwhile, Connor helps Sarah and Denise declutter their small apartment. 

While Connor looks to Tom for advice on how to come clean with Denise about a sensitive matter, Marina is surprised to learn that Sarah didn't like her when they first met.

Tom and Marina must make a difficult choice after they uncover a bombshell revelation about Sofía Salazar. Meanwhile, Connor and JoJo's secret relationship is complicated by Denise and Sarah's matchmaking efforts.

As Christmas approaches, Tom finally receives his first advance check from the Sofia Salazar book, leaving him and Marina to decide what to do with the money. Meanwhile, Sarah receives an extravagant gift from the parents at her new school and has a hard time parting with it.  .

Tom, Sarah and Connor are determined to prove that they can host a successful Thanksgiving dinner when they switch up their annual holiday tradition to gather at Connor's place. Denise has some sibling drama of her own when her sister joins the Hayworth family celebration.  .

Sofia brings out Tom's adventurous side which ignites Marina's jealous side. Meanwhile, Sarah and Denise learn that Shamiah has been confiding in Connor instead of them, leaving them no choice but to take action.  .

Trick or treat is not the only question on the Hayworths' minds as they debate the best neighborhood for a spooktacular Halloween. Meanwhile, Connor navigates sharing the holiday with his ex-wife, Emily.  .

Tom spirals when Connor dates a woman who broke his heart at summer camp. Then, family game night becomes an all-or-nothing competition between Marina and Denise on an all-new episode of "Home Economics."  .

Marina worries Camila's lost touch with her Mexican heritage, so she enlists Tom and the rest of the family to help reconnect with her roots. Prompted by Denise, Sarah interviews for a job at Gretchen's school but receives some unwanted assistance from Connor.

The family is in for a wild night out when they accompany Connor to a club to help him jump-start his dating life.

Things get a little hot in the kitchen when Tom considers ghostwriting a memoir for a celebrity chef. Connor starts dating a woke friend of Sarah and Denise's who makes a surprising impact on him.

Connor invites the Hayworth clan to a San Francisco 49ers game as he tries to close his latest business deal. Desperately trying to prove that he knows the game, Tom gets a once-in-a-lifetime chance to showcase his football skills in front of the entire crowd of 49ers Faithful at Levi's(R) Stadium. Meanwhile, Denise tries to get Sarah to come to terms with Shamiah's new interest in cheerleading.

The family gathers to try and celebrate their parents' anniversary without spoiling it - like every other year. However, after everyone learns what Tom's new novel is about, the celebration may just be the worst one yet.

Connor invites the siblings to a party he's throwing for his ex-wife, Emily. While he feels the need to prove that he is cool with their divorce, he is not the only one in the competitive spirit. Tom and Marina try to prove to each other that they still have game, while Sarah finds the perfect solution to the fact that she's a bad gift-giver.

After upsetting Marina, Tom tries to help out more around the house. While Sarah tries to find temporary employment, she and Denise worry their son will be corrupted after Kelvin decides he wants to learn all about Uncle Connor's business.

When Tom and Sarah discover that their parents have been spending time at Connor's house and not theirs, jealousy rears its ugly head. But when it looks like there might be more grandparent time for everyone, they learn to be careful what they wish for.

Connor invites all the cousins over for an epic sleepover to cheer up his daughter, Gretchen. Meanwhile, Tom is determined to prove he can be a fun uncle too. 

The Hayworth family is invited to the wedding of longtime family friend Spags. When Connor enlists Tom's help to write and re-write a wedding toast, things take an unexpected turn between the brothers. Sarah realizes Denise is upset they never had a real wedding, while Marina meticulously plans her drinking schedule for a night out without the kids.  .

The show takes a look at the heartwarming yet super uncomfortable and sometimes frustrating relationship among three adult siblings: one in the 1%, one middle-class and one barely holding on.
