As the Apocalypse draws nigh, Jesse fights the Saint, Tulip fights Cassidy, Jesus fights Hitler, Lara goes up against Starr, and God waits in the stands.
Starr and the Grail put on their Apocalypse Revue, and the clock counts down to Humperdoo's big number... and God's big number on the world. Jesse, Tulip, and Cassidy sneak into Masada to get Humperdoo, but God has other plans. And Eugene's post-prison plans are cut short.
Jesse suffers the tortures of the damned in Hell as Fiore tries to convince him to take the throne of God. Tulip waits for God to appear so that she can kill Humperdoo in front of Him, and Starr has a meal with the Chunt brothers.
Jesse finds himself in Heaven after his death, and learns of God's plans for phase 3 of Creation. Tulip and Cassidy search for the one person that they can use as leverage against God. Starr pursues the dingo that bit off his genitals, and Hoover Two reveals his true loyalties.
Impatient with the lack of progress between Jesus and Hitler, Starr heads to Australia to meet with God... who is luring Jesse and his friends into a trap at Lost Apostle.
Tulip finds Cassidy, the Archangel finds his demon lover, Eugene and the Saint find Jesse, and Jesse finds Eugene. Jesus wants to go to Vegas, and Hitler plays handball.
Jesse and Steve are lost on a life raft in the middle of the ocean after their plane goes down, and Steve wonders if he'll survive. Tulip has a come-to-Jesus moment with Jesus in Masada, and Cassidy makes Frankie sit things out.
Jesse tries to rescue the boy from the House, Tulip undergoes a psychiatric evaluation, Cassidy thinks of home, and Eugene tries to make small talk with the Saint.
Jesse realizes that he has to go to Australia to find the Lost Apostle, and pays a visit to the House of Entertainment. Left to her own devices, Tulip comes up with a plan to enter Masada. Cassidy comes up with a cunning plan to escape put his own guilt thwarts him.
Jesse and Tulip fight their way into Masada to rescue Cassidy, but Cassidy has other ideas while his torturer removes his bits and pieces.
Jesse avenges his father and gives Marie her just due; Tulip faces off against Nazis; and Cassidy accepts Eccarius' offer.
Jesse engages in Allfather in final battle to determine the fate of the world. Meanwhile, Eccarius turns the Children against Cassidy, and Tulip plots to escape a trip to Hell.
Allfather captures Jesse and tries to transfer Genesis from him into Humperdoo. Meanwhile, Tulip, Lara, and Jody steal the souls while Satan makes a new deal with Marie.
Jesse brokers a deal between Starr and Marie: souls for Marie, freedom for Jesse. Meanwhile, FJ takes a squad of priests after Cassidy, and the Saint finds Hitler.
Jesse convinces Jody and T.C. to help him and Tulip rob Sabina's bank to get the souls to keep Marie--and Tulip--alive. Meanwhile, Eccarius shows Cassidy what a vampire can do when he puts his mind to it, and Starr continues plotting his coup against Allfather.
Jesse is put in the Coffin and tries to find a way out. Meanwhile, Tulip plots to kill Marie, Cassidy goes on a date, and Starr gets a call from his superior.
Jesse tries to get Cassidy out of the Tombs, while Sabina tells Tulip about her history with Jesse and the L'Angelles. In Hell, Satan has a talk with the Saint.
Jesse falls back on his old ways, while Tulip goes to the Boyds in an attempt to find a way to break Jesse's blood compact with Marie.
When Tulip captures FJ and Lara, Jesse secretly turns them loose as a bargaining chip to get Starr to return his soul. Meanwhile, Tulip deals with the aftermath of her resurrection, and the Boyds pay Angelville a visit.
Jesse takes Tulip to Gran'ma and makes a deal to have her resurrected.
Starr puts Jesse on the path to messiahdom. Meanwhile, Cassidy deals with Denis and Tulip finds out who has been spying on them.
After the Grail frees the Cowboy, he comes looking for Jesse. Meanwhile, Eugene comes to terms with his past so that he and Hitler can escape Hell.
Jesse realizes where God is and goes to find Him, but discovers that He is already gone. Meanwhile, Hitler shows Eugene a way out of Hell, and Tulip resolves to destroy the Cowboy's guns.
Jesse finally meets the Messiah face-to-face, but he isn't what Jesse expects. Meanwhile, Lara works to create a divide between Tulip and Jesse, while Denis gives in to his new appetites.
After the Grail's first assault on Jesse and his friends fail, they unleash BRAD. Meanwhile, Tulip's PSD continues to get worse, and Denis revels in his new health.
While Cassidy considers what to do with Denis, Tulip spackles the bulletholes that the Cowboy left in the walls. Meanwhile, Jesse goes to a video store to try and determine whose gun was used to kill Mark Harelik.
Tulip has nightmares of the Cowboy's touch, and finds a unique way to deal with them. Meanwhile, Jesse seeks out a doomsday preacher for advice on selling 1% of his soul, and the origin of Herr Starr's entry into the Grail is revealed.
Jesse and his friends discover what the Cowboy wants, and are forced to deal with him when he captures Denis.
As Jesse considers what to do with Viktor, he and Tulip remember the past after they lost the baby.
Jesse spots the actor who played God in an infomercial and tracks him down. Meanwhile, Tulip meets with Viktor.
While Jesse searches jazz clubs in New Orleans for God, Cassidy finds a play for them to crash. However, Tulip soon realizes that she can't escape her past. Meanwhile, Eugene suffers in Hell.
Jesse, Tulip and Cassidy find Fiore working as a magician in Las Vegas, and try to convince him to answer their questions about the Cowboy.
Jesse, Tulip and Cassidy hit the road in search of God, and quickly realize they're being stalked by a killer cowboy from Hell.
Jesse prepares to summon God to Annville, but soon realizes that you can't always get what you want.
Jesse escapes police custody and steals the angels' line to Heaven so that he can summon God to Texas. Meanwhile, Tulip tells Emily what Cassidy really is, Miles pays Emily a visit, and the true nature of the Cowboy's fate is revealed.
The townspeople gather to watch Odin and the Meat Men try to take the church. Meanwhile, Jesse receives a visitor and calls upon Fiore and DeBlanc to remove Genesis from him.
Jesse tries to deal with what he did to Eugene, while Odin insists that he hasn't become a Christian and demands that Jesse turn the church over to him.
After DeBlanc and Fiore tell Jesse about the source of the Voice, they receive a visit from a higher angel. Meanwhile, Emily and Tulip bond, and Eugene asks Jesse to take back what he did.
Jesse sets out to use the Voice to solve the troubles of the people of Annville. Meanwhile, Odin agrees to a meeting with the Green Acres people, Donnie realizes what he's up against, and Tulip and Cassidy begin a relationship.
