In the last show of the series, Davina meets 4-year-old Georgie Gibbs from Worcester who is hoping she will be able to finally walk to school without her sticks. Diagnosed with cerebral palsy at 12-months old, Georgie is determined to final walk unaided. The family initially raised money for Georgie to have SDR treatment in America to help her mobility but after being accepted onto a clinical trial in Bristol, Georgie's family have used the money to fund Georgie intense physio and to help her achieve her dream.

In the fifth show of the new series, Davina meets Hayley Martin, 47 (years old) from Stoke on Trent, who is hoping that she can go on her first holiday in 27 years. For most of her life, Hayley has been living with extreme anxiety and OCD, which not only affects her day to day, but has also had a huge effect on her health. Due to these issues, Hayley has not been on a plane since she was 19 years old but will she be able to control her fears and finally head off on her dream holiday?

In the fourth episode of the new series Davina meets Rebecca who pledges to ‘have a full set of teeth' when they meet again in a year. Rebecca had several teeth pulled out when she was younger and developed such a fear of the dentist that she avoided going. She now has very few teeth left and wants a new set so she can eat what she wants and smile with confidence.

Mum of two Mandy is a part-time music teacher and dreams of making it as an author. She has a novel ready to be published and after years of rejection letters has finally signed to a literary agent. Mandy hopes that by this time next year she will be a published author.

Samantha was born with Talipes, a clubfoot, and underwent surgeries as a child to correct it. Although it was corrected, as she got older, it began to cause her unbearable pain and she took the decision to have the lower part of her leg amputated. Now her pledge is to be able to walk in high heels - something she has never been able to do before.

Sean, a dad of three, was diagnosed with non Hodgkins Lymphoma and after two rounds of chemotherapy was advised to have a bone marrow transplant. Just 45 days later Seanwas matched to a donor in the USA and underwent the transplant. Sean's pledge for this time next year is to meet the man who saved his life.

In the second episode of the new series Davina meets Stephen, aged 45 from Cheltenham. Stephen grew up knowing he had a half-sister called Rosemary who his mother gave up for adoption after falling pregnant when she was very young. Stephen's mum never looked for Rosemary as she didn't want to intrude on her new life. She died five years ago and Stephen found a book of poems she had written including one about Rosemary and what it had meant to give her up. By this time next year, Stephen wants to track down his long-lost sister. Grandmother Denise pledged to Davina that she wanted to learn to read. Denise struggled with dyslexia throughout school but wasn't diagnosed until she was 21 and by that age was too embarrassed to do anything about it. Denise explains how being illiterate controls her daily life and that she is determined to return to education and finally learn to read. Most of all, she wants to be able to read her two grandsons a bedtime story for the very first time. Zoe, aged 40, from Coventry, was a size eight until she had her first son. After that her weight increased and she was 16 stone at her heaviest. After her marriage broke down Zoe was determined to get healthy and has already lost five stone. However she isn't happy with how she looks and plans to have her excess skin removed. She has also pledged to take her fitness to the next level and wants to take to the stage This Time Next Year as a fully fledged bodybuilding fitness champion!This Time Next Year Ben wants to have the confidence to pop the question. Ben, aged 31, from Colchester, has lost all his confidence due to the sudden onset of alopecia, as well as gaining four stone. Over the next year he pledges to have a total makeover; to lose weight, get micropigmentation on his scalp and improve his teeth so he feels like his old self again. Ben's partner of five years Justine has been his total rock throughout and he wants to have the confidence to ask her to be his wife.

After suffering a number of miscarriages and unsure if this is linked to Rebecca's diabetes, the couple are hoping a new treatment method will allow them to finally have the baby they long for.

Injured veteran Luke Reeson is hoping to make the GB Paralympic swim team and head to Rio. The 27-year-old from Cumbria took up swimming after suffering a gunshot wound to his leg and groin whilst serving in Afghanistan and found a new career path. Will Luke be able to achieve his dream and earn a place on Team GB?

Bus driver Adrian Brown, 39 from Hertfordshire is hoping to find love by the time he turn's 40. Working unsociable hours has made dating difficult but with his birthday fast approaching, Adrian is hoping that this will be the year he finally meets his Miss Right!

Long time friends, Andy Hill, Ian MacKenzie and Jim Allison are each hoping to lose 6 stone. Fed up with their weight, the truck drivers from Scotland have decided to go head to head in a healthy competition to see who can be the biggest loser!

Rryann Ashworth, 20 from Manchester is hoping to have a full body lift so she can finally show off her impressive weight loss. The student nurse lost a staggering 10 stone via a gastric band operation but is now hoping to have a full body lift to remove the unsightly excess skin and achieve the body she has longed for.

Sam Redington 47 from East London is hoping that he will finally be able to walk again. The dad of three was living a happy and healthy life when he tragically contracted a rare syndrome where the body's immune system attacks the nervous system leaving him paralysed and wheel-chair bound. Through intense rehabilitation, Sam is hoping that within 12 months he will be able to walk once more.

Russel Newland, 54 from Surrey is renown in his local area for his ‘pirate' image and whilst he relishes his notoriety, his is less happy with his weight. The Relief Shop manager is hoping to lose 7 stone and smarten up his look. Will Russel finally be able to achieve his goal?

Kelly James 37 from Bradford is hoping to finally find love. Working unsociable hours as a local police officer, Kelly has decided that now is the time to stop putting her love life on hold but will she finally meet her Mr Right?

Gemma Trotter, 33 from Surrey is hoping that she will finally be able to walk unaided. The fitness instructor tragically lost her leg aged 14, after being involved in car accident. In 2013 the pin to which her prosthetic was attached snapped and had to be removed which means Gemma has to rely on crutches. With a young son, Gemma is hoping to undergo surgery and rehab to allow her to walk unaided once again.

Fay Chambers 43 from Leicester is hoping to lose 10 stone and finally gain the confidence to get on a plane for the first time. The Paediatric Health Care Assistant has battled with her weight since childhood but with her honeymoon to Mexico looming Fay wants to overcome her fears and finally board a plane.

In this episode Davina meets Karen Jackson a 40-year-old nurse from Brighton who is hoping to lose half her body weight so she can finally have IVF treatment. Having struggled with her weight throughout her life, Karen has decided that now if the time to finally make her dream a reality.

Linda Ralph, 68 from East Sussex is hoping to be reunited with an old friend who she's not seen for 50 years. Having met in teacher training college Linda and her good friend Maria eventually lost contact and haven't seen each other since. Will Linda finally get the reunion she is longing for?

Rhys Jones, 21 from Wales is hoping that in the next 12 months he will qualify for Team GB at the Rio Paralympics and win a medal. After contracting hemiplegic encephalitis as a toddler, Rhys was told he may never walk. Defying all expectations, sport has become a lifeline for him. Now he's hoping he can finally achieve his dream in the world's biggest sporting arena.

Motorbike enthusiast Sharon Martin, a 44-year-old district nurse from Stoke On Trent is hoping she can lose weight and fit back into her biking leathers. With the only solution being an amputation, Lisa has decided its time to go through this life changing surgery in order to be fitted with a prosthetic that will not only give her back her mobility but also put an end to her pain.

Lewis Burns, 16 from Glasgow is hoping that this is the year he will finally be able to speak again. After diagnosed with the heart condition ‘sudden death syndrome' Lewis tragically suffered a heart attack aged just 10, as a result he suffered damaged to his windpipe. With his windpipe almost completely closed, Lewis hasn't spoken for six years but has now decided it time to undergo surgery that will reopen his windpipe and allow him to talk again. Will Lewis finally gain his voice back?

Carol Ubaldi, a 54-year-old from Cardiff is hoping she can finally put an end to years of yo yo dieting. The catering manager is hoping she can lose 7 stone, but will she be able to finally achieve her target weight?

Conrad Andrews from Halifax has had a fear of the dentist since his teens after suffering a traumatic experience. The repercussions have meant that the 33-year student hasn't visited a dentist in 20 years and is now constantly embarrassed by his teeth. Will Conrad be able to face his fears and finally get a smile he is proud of?

Kathryn Mallery, 34 and Chris Chapman 37 from London are hoping to complete their family with the help of a surrogate. Diagnosed aged 7 with a rare disease that means she is at constant risks of tumours, Kathryn, whilst pregnant with her first child, developed a tumour causing her to go blind in one eye. Told that she could potentially lose her sight completely if she fell pregnant again, Kathryn and Chris are hoping a surrogate will help them finally be able to complete their family.

After reaching almost 25 stone, Sarah decided it was time to take action and is pledging to lose 10 stone to fit into a sexy superhero costume, which she bought a few sizes too small to give her an incentive. After seeing a fellow passenger on a plane making comments via text about her weight, Sarah-Jayne decided it was time to finally take control but will she succeed?
